On November 29, 1942, Michigan State Administrative Bishop Paul Walker along with Pastor Dan Berry and eleven members present set the great Church of God in order. Since that starting date in 1942 the church has moved to its present location at 13700 Stephens Road in Warren, MI. Over the past 64 years 18 pastors have ministered here in helping our church become what it is today. However we have a vision for the future to reap the harvest God has commissioned us. Who are We? We are a “community of faith”- a group of believers with common unity defined by our doctrine (statement of faith) and direction (vision). Each church must have a vision, and our vision is to reach as many lost souls as possible with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Further it is our goal that all the ministries at the Maranatha Church of God flow with this mission statement. We also believe that each believer has been given a spiritual gift to use for the Kingdom of God. This simply means we all have a responsibility to be a minister in some capacity.
